Our mission is to bring large cap LP relations capabilities to the middle market and drive each fundraise to an oversubscribed position. We serve as an extension of staff for private equity firms who prefer to maintain a lean organization.
Founded in 2014 to focus solely on fundraising and investor relations support. Led by two senior professionals with deep experience in the sector. We provide a consistent presence throughout fundraising cycles.

Suite of Services
- New investor introductions
Target, approach, and arrange meetings with potential investors, including endowments, foundations, family offices, pension plans, insurance companies, wealth managers, and sovereign wealth funds. Sutton Hill has sourced meetings with over 400 LPs across North America, many of whom on a serial basis.
- Marketing materials
Ensure that pitch books, annual meeting presentations, quarterly letters, private placement memorandum (PPMs), data spreadsheets, ESG policy, and standard questionnaires are on par with those of the most successful private equity firms at raising capital.
- Due diligence "heavy lifting"
Project manage the time-consuming fundraising process, including dataroom set up and management, as well as creation of dataroom materials. Take a leadership role in responding to incoming ad-hoc requests, questionnaires, and spreadsheets.
- Brand building
Design, build, and maintain firm website, execute branded email campaigns, draft and distribute press releases.
- Ongoing LP relations
Ensure that investor matters are handled in a timely and thorough fashion: draft quarterly letters, annual meeting preparation, co-investment syndication, ESG program support, build and maintain LP online reporting portal, and pro-active engagement with potential LPs in-between fundraises.
